ITINERARY:

DAY 1: CITY TOUR IN CUSCO BY PANORAMIC BUS

According to the schedule of your choice, we will pick you up at the hotel to start the City Tour in Cusco in a panoramic bus together with the guide and our entire group. We will begin our walk through the tourist and famous places of the historic center of Cusco, such as: the “Paccha Pumaqchupan” water fountain, the “Qorikancha” temple of the Sun, the main square, the Cathedral and also the Colonial Houses that give a special charm in the city.

From the mirabus we will also appreciate the San Cristóbal Viewpoint, continuing with the Temple of San Cristóbal, we will also take advantage of knowing the Temple of Colcampata. Being on the outskirts of the city, we will move to different archaeological zones such as: Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo and Pucapucará. We will observe them from our panoramic bus, as we will also have valuable information about these incredible places. Our last stop will be at an Inca Ritual Center, in this space we will be part of an Inca ceremony in gratitude to Pachamama “Mother Earth”, our Apus “Mountains” and nature, here you can find different handicrafts with fine finishes and clothing with alpaca and sheep wool. The tour is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes

DIA 2: RAINBOW MOUNTAIN TOUR

We will pick you up early in the morning from your hotel in Cusco at 04:00 AM, later we will go to the southern valley of Cusco in our tourist transport together with our guide and the entire excursion group. The trip lasts approximately 3 hours until we arrive at the Vinincunca town, where after having a refreshing breakfast we will start our walk. We will be immediately surprised by the great landscape beauty, the flora and fauna of the place with herds of alpacas and llamas, we will also have incredible views of the Ausangate mountain.

After a walk of approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, we will arrive at our destination: Vinincunca “the Mountain of seven colors” (5,020 m / 16,466 ft). Already at the top we will be able to appreciate the beauty and magic of the rainbow mountain and its surroundings, as well as the Ausangate snow-capped mountain, one of the most revered mountains in the region. Here you will have time to explore the area and take pictures.

Later we will return the walk downhill from the mountain, arriving at the town of Cusipata, we will be picked up by the transport and we will move to recharge our energies with an exquisite lunch. Finally we will return in our transport to the city of Cusco. Approximate arrival time 05:00 PM.

DIA 3: MACHU PICCHU TOUR BY TRAIN

In the morning we will pick you up from the hotel in Cusco at 06:30 AM and we will be transported to the Ollantaytambo train station to make the trip to the town of Machupicchu.

Once at the Ollantaytambo station we will board the train to go to Machu Picchu town, on the train trip we will enjoy extraordinary landscapes, mountains and rivers. We will also appreciate the flora and fauna of this area of Cusco. Upon arrival in Machu Picchu town; the agency staff will be waiting for us to give us all the instructions, then we will go to the station buses, where we will board the bus that makes a zigzagging route towards the mountain where the majestic citadel of Machu Picchu is located (30 minute bus trip).

When we get off the bus we will go to the entrance of Machu Picchu, where we must present our tickets and respective identification documents, from this place the guided excursion in the citadel of Machu Picchu will begin. We will visit the main venues of the city together with our guide who will give us all the information and history of Machu Picchu for approximately 2 hours, we will visit the citadel and places such as: the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Rooms, among others. During the tour we will open our senses and we will be filled with the great energy that this majestic place hides.

At the appropriate time we must take the bus back to the town of Machupicchu where we can enjoy lunch in one of the restaurants (not included) and optionally you can visit the thermo-medicinal baths that are located north of the town (admission not included).

At the appointed time we will take the return train to the Ollantaytambo station, where the agency staff will be waiting for us to transport us to the city of Cusco.
