Our three-day program will take you to the most emblematic routes of our Peruvian Andes, through our tours you will visit: the Sacred Valley of the Incas, the Rainbow Mountain and finally you will arrive at the incredible wonder of Machupicchu. Our journey will begin with the trip to the Sacred Valley, where the mysterious citadels of the Inca civilization await you. You will explore with our professional guide the ancient ruins, local markets and tradition. From Pisaq, passing through Urubamba, Ollantaytambo and arriving at Chinchero; each of these places is a treasure of history and natural beauty.

The next day, we will venture to Rainbow Mountain, a place that looks almost unreal. The color palette that this mountain presents due to its components and minerals will leave you speechless. In addition, while you walk to get to this wonder of nature, you will find vegetation and fauna typical of the place. Finally, our last day itinerary will take us to Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. In this magical place, you will walk along the ancient paths, marvel at the architecture and enjoy the panoramic views that surround this Inca citadel.

Itinerary

DAY 1: TOUR OF THE SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS

In the morning at 07:30 Hrs. approx. we will pick you up at your hotel or accommodation, then we will start the tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, we will go by bus to Pisac, on the route we will make some stops to visit points of interest such as viewpoints of the Vilcanota River and the valley, Once we arrive to the Pisac archaeological park,  We will visit the Inca citadel of Pisac located at the top of the mountain, to visit the Inca neighborhoods, the cemetery, the terraces and their functions.

Then we will descend by bus to the district of Pisac, where you can visit and see some of the local crafts that were made by Andean metallurgy. 

Later we go to the City of Urubamba,  traveling to the banks of the Vilcanota River, arriving at this, we can taste a buffet lunch in a local restaurant and try Peruvian cuisine and more.

After our pleasant buffet lunch we go in the transport to the archaeological park of Ollantaytambo,  whose name is due in honor of the Inca General Ollanta, famous for his romance with an Inca princess, daughter of Pachacútec. In this park we appreciate megalithic loses of an approximate weight of more than 45 tons of weight carved in pink porphyry rock, as well as environments of purely religious use, water sources and tambos since it also fulfilled the function of supply or resting place.

Then in our transport we go to the archaeological park of Chinchero, which is characterized by the  existence of a Catholic colonial church which is built on an Inca palace, sample of the imposition of the Catholic religion on the Andean culture at the arrival of the conquerors, also chinchero is characterized by its textiles produced in an artisanal way with techniques acquired from generation to generation since Inca times,  You can visit a textile center to appreciate these processes of obtaining colors based on natural products for the dyeing of different wools, either llama or alpaca.

 Culminating the tour we go in our transport to the city of Cusco to rest after a spectacular and unforgettable day.

Approximately we arrived in the City of Cusco at 19:00 hrs.

DAY 2: RAINBOW MOUNTAIN TOUR

We will pick you up early in the morning from your hotel in Cusco 04:00 AM, then we will head towards the south valley of Cusco. The trip by car is around 2 hours until we reach the town of Cusipata, where after having a refreshing breakfast, we will continue 1.5 hours more to the stating point of the trek (Winincunca), you will be immediately surprised by the beauty scenic, the flora and fauna of the place with herds of alpacas and llamas and we will have incredible views of the Ausangate mountain. 

After a hike of 1.5 to 2 hours, we will arrive at our destination: Vinincunca “the Mountain of seven colors” (5,020 m / 16,466 ft). Already at the top we can appreciate the beauty and magic of the rainbow mountain and surroundings, as well as the snowy Ausangate one of the most revered mountains in the region, here you will have time to explore the area and take pictures.

Later we will return the walk downhill from the mountain until the starting point of the trek, later we will continue the route by car until we reach the town of Cusipata, where we will recharge our energies with a delicious lunch. Finally we will return in our transport to the city of Cusco. Approximate arrival time 05:00 PM.

DAY 3: TOUR TO MACHU PICCHU BY TRAIN

In the morning we will pick you up from the  hotel in Cusco at 04:00 hrs  and we will be transported to the train station of Ollantaytambo (trip by car of 1 hour and 40 minutes approx.). [If the train leaves Poroy the car ride is 30 minutes, then take a train ride of 3 and a half hours.]

Once at the Ollantaytambo station 06:10 hrs we will board the train to go to the town of  Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town) on  the  train trip you will enjoy  extraordinary landscapes, mountains, rivers and streams, we can also appreciate the flora and fauna of this area of Cusco. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes  (Machu Picchu town), the agency staff  will  be waiting for you to  give you all the indications, we will have  free time to have breakfast in the town of Machu Picchu (breakfast on our own), then we will go to the bus station, where we will board the bus that makes a zigzagging route to the mountain where the majestic citadel of Machu Picchu is located (30-minute bus trip). 

When getting off the bus we will go to the entrance of Machu Picchu, where we must  present  our  tickets and respective identification documents, from this place the guided tour will begin in the citadel of Machu Picchu, visit the  main enclosures of the city with our guide who will give us all the information and history of Machu Picchu for approximately 2 hours,  Paddle through the citadel and places such as: the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Quarters, among others. In  the  tourwe will open the  senses and fill us with the great energy that hides this majestic place.

At the appropriate time we must take the  bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes where we can  enjoy lunch in one of the restaurants and optionally you can visit the thermomedicinal baths that are north of the town (entrance not included).

In the afternoon we will take the return train   from Aguas Calientes 2 hours of travel to Ollantaytambo, where the  staff of the agency will not be waiting to transport you to the city of Cusco.
