With our city tour, you will visit very important places within the city of Cusco and its surroundings, among which are: the main square, the temple of Qoricancha or temple of the Sun, Saqsayhuaman, Qenqo, Tambomachay and Pucapucara. Continuing with our program, the next day you will arrive at the imposing Inca citadel of Machupicchu, an incomparable example of the greatness of the Inca civilization. For the last day of the tour, we have programmed for you the tourist destination acclaimed by all adventurers and that is that the Rainbow Mountain or Vinicunca, will leave you dazzled by the scenic beauty it offers thanks to the formation of colors due to the mixture of minerals from this mountain.

Itinerary
ITINERARY:
DAY 1: ARRIVAL TO CUSCO – PICK UP FROM THE AIPORT – CUSCO CITY TOUR:
We will pick you up from the Cusco airport at the indicated time of your flight schedule, and then transfer you the hotel in Cusco. Morning to acclimatize.
In the afternoon 12:50 hrs. we will pick you up at your hotel for the city tour.
Starting the tour in the imposing main square of Cusco, realizing the history that it has, where we will visit the Cathedral of Cusco, symbol of Andean religious syncretism, then we go through one of the narrow streets like many in Cusco to the Inca Palace of Qoricancha, where it is located also, the convent of Santo Domingo de Guzmán, this place was considered in the Inca times as the most important palace built for the Sun god, culminating the visit we will board our tourist bus which will transport us to the 4 ruins which are around the city of Cusco arriving first at the archaeological site of Sacsayhuaman, which is strategically built on a nearby mountain from where you can see the entire city of Cusco. It is famous for its megalithic stones worked in limestone, some of which are 9 meters high and weigh approximately 100 tons, in this place the festival of Inti Raymi or Festival of the Sun is held every year.
Then we visit the archaeological site of Qenqo, which means labyrinth or zigzag, fulfilled a purely religious function and where it is believed that the Incas mummified their dead, outside it has a semicircular enclosure with trapezoidal niches and a monolith that simulates being a puma which measures approximately six meters.
Later we go to the archaeological site of Puca Pucara, which means “red fortress”, since the calcareous stones which this site was built, it have acquired the reddish coloration of the land. This place had the function of strategic control of people who entered the city of Cusco in Inca times.
And finally, we visit the archaeological site of Tambomachay, or “tambo” which means place of supply and rest, which were strategically located in the network of roads of the Inca, where we can also see sources of water for religious purposes or supply, as well as niches to harbor mummies and offerings, a really magical place.
Culminating the tour we return to the bus which will transport us back to the city of Cusco to rest after an extraordinary tour.

DAY 2: TOUR TO MACHU PICCHU BY TRAIN
In the morning we will pick you up from the hotel in Cusco at 06:30 AM and we will be transported to the train station of Ollantaytambo (trip by car of 1 hour and 40 minutes approx.). [If the train departs from Poroy the car ride is 30 minutes, then take a 3-and-a-half-hour train ride.]
Once at the Ollantaytambo station we will board the train to go to the town of Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town) on the train trip we will enjoy extraordinary landscapes, mountains, rivers and streams, we can also appreciate the flora and fauna of this area of Cusco. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town), the agency staff will be waiting for you to give you all the directions, then we will go to the bus station, where we will board the bus that makes a zigzagging route to the mountain where the majestic citadel of Machu Picchu is located (30-minute bus trip).
When getting off the bus we will go to the entrance of Machu Picchu, where we must present our tickets and respective identification documents, from this place the tour will begin in the citadel of Machu Picchu, we will visit the main enclosures of the city with the tour guide who will give us all the information and history of Machu Picchu for approximately 2 hours, We will visit the citadel and places such as: the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Quarters, among others. On the tour we will open the senses and fill ourselves with the great energy that hides this majestic place.
At the appropriate time we must take the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes where we can enjoy lunch in one of the restaurants and optionally you can visit the hot springs of Aguas Calientes that are located north of the town (entrance not included).
At the appointed time we will take the return train from Aguas Calientes 2 hours of travel to Ollantaytambo, where the car will be waiting for you to transport you to the city of Cusco.

DAY 3: RAINBOW MOUNTAIN TOUR
We will pick you up early in the morning from your hotel in Cusco 04:00 AM, then we will head towards the south valley of Cusco. The trip by car is around 2 hours until we reach the town of Cusipata, where after having a refreshing breakfast, we will continue 1.5 hours more to the starting point of the trek (Winincunca), you will be immediately surprised by the beauty scenic, the flora and fauna of the place with herds of alpacas and llamas and we will have incredible views of the Ausangate mountain.
After a hike of 1.5 to 2 hours, we will arrive at our destination: Vinincunca “the Mountain of seven colors” (5,020 m / 16,466 ft). Already at the top we can appreciate the beauty and magic of the rainbow mountain and surroundings, as well as the snowy Ausangate, one of the most revered mountains in the region, here you will have time to explore the area and take pictures.
Later we will return the walk downhill from the mountain until the starting point of the trek, later we will continue the route by car until we reach the town of Cusipata, where we will recharge our energies with a delicious lunch. Finally we will return in the transport to the city of Cusco. Approximate arrival time 05:00 PM.
DAY 4: TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT:
This day we will have free time in the city of Cusco until our flight time. At the indicated time the transport will pass through the hotel in Cusco in order to transfer you to the airport and then take your return flight.
