Maras and Moray Tour
On the Maras Moray tour is a half-day excursion in Cusco, in the first part a stop is made in the town of Chinchero where we will appreciate its textiles produced in an artisanal way, art acquired from generation to generation, then we head towards the archaeological site of Moray where we can appreciate circular terraces, terraces that had been used in the time of the Incas as a greenhouse or agricultural experimentation center, on this tour we will also visit the Maras Salt Mines, made up of thousands of water wells, used from pre-Inca times to the present to obtain salt for consumption.

Itinerary
ITINERARY:
In the morning at approximately 08:30 hrs. we will pick you up at your hotel or accommodation to begin the tour of Maras Moray, we will go by bus to the archaeological attraction of Moray.
On the way we will make a stop in the town of Chinchero, since it is characterized by its textiles produced in an artisanal way with techniques acquired from generation to generation since the Inca era. You can visit a textile center to appreciate these processes of obtaining colors based on natural products for dyeing different wools, whether llama or alpaca.
After Chinchero we headed in our transport to the archaeological park of Moray, agricultural terraces of circular type or shape, the only circular ones of all the Inca constructions referred to terraces, the function it fulfilled was that of an experimental type site for obtaining and domesticating products and varieties of both thecorn, potatoes, olluco, among others. In addition, we will be able to appreciate the scenic beauty of mountains and snow-capped peaks considered apus or deities in Inca times.
Then we went to Las Minas De Sal De Maras, characterized mainly by the existence of water sources with sodium chloride that come from the mountain which make possible the existence of salt at more than 3000 meters above sea level. Salt production pools in an approximate amount of 3800 which make this attraction have an exceptional scenic beauty.
At the end of our tour we will prepare to return to the city of Cusco and rest after this pleasant experience.
