Be part of an adventure that combines history, natural beauty and a deep connection with the Andean culture visiting: Maras – Moray, The Sacred Valley of the Incas and Machupicchu by train. Destinations that will leave you amazed. On the first day you will witness the advanced knowledge of agricultural engineering that the Inca civilization possessed through the construction of their circular Moray agricultural terraces. These staggered circular formations represent microclimates, which served as an agricultural laboratory. Close to the Moray area, there are also the Maras Salt Mines, a place that you will visit with our tour to learn how to extract this mineral. The sight of thousands of salt pools is simply impressive.
We have programmed for you during the second day, the visit to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, visiting this valley we will not only appreciate the incredible landscapes that it offers us, you will also immerse much more in the Inca culture. We will visit the largest Inca cemetery in Pisaq, then we will move to visit the Ollantaytambo fortress and finally arrive in Chinchero. Each of these areas keep stories and traditions.
Finally, and on the third day we will see first hand the greatness of the Inca citadel of Machupicchu. The tour to Machupicchu by train is more than a destination, it is an experience that will touch your senses and awaken your adventurous spirit while you walk the same paths that the Incas once walked.

Itinerary
ITINERARY:
DIA 1: TOUR MARAS – MORAY
In the morning at 08:30hrs approx. We will pick you up at your hotel or accommodation to start the tour of Maras Moray, we will go by bus to the archaeological attraction of Moray.
On the way we will make a stop in the town of chinchero, since this is characterized by its artisanal textile production with techniques acquired from generation to generation since Inca times, you can visit a textile center to appreciate these processes of color obtaining based on natural products for the dyeing of different wools, either llama or alpaca.
After Chinchero we went in our transport to the archaeological park of Moray, agricultural terraces of type or circular form the only ones in circular shape of all the Inca constructions referred to terraces, the function that fulfilled was an experimental site for the obtaining and domestication of products and varieties of plants, such us: corn, the potato, the olluco among others. In addition, we can appreciate a beauty scenic of mountains, snow-capped mountains considered apus or deities in Inca times.
Then we go to the salt mines of Maras, characterized mainly by the existence of water sources with sodium chloride that come from the mountain which make possible the existence of salt at more than 3000 meters above sea level. Salt production grounds in an approximate amount of 3800 which make this attraction have an exceptional beauty scenic.
Culminating the tour, we will return to the city of Cusco to rest after this pleasant experience.
DAY 2: SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS TOUR
In the morning we will pick you up from your hotel or accommodation to start the tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, we will go by bus to Pisac, on the route we will make some stops to visit points of interest such as viewpoints of the Vilcanota River and the valley, already in Pisac we will visit the Inca citadel of Pisac located at the top of the mountain, to know the Inca neighborhoods, the cemetery, the terraces and their functions, Pisac is one of the most beautiful monumental centers of the valley because it combines the landscape with the impeccable finish of its constructions.
Then we will descend by bus to the typical market of Pisac, where the most famous Cusco handicrafts made by Andean hands are exhibited, among the handicrafts, textile pieces, ponchos, bags, etc., and ceramic crafts, which are reproductions of Inca archeological pieces, such as queros (ceremonial vessels), necklaces, etc. This fair is attended by indigenous merchants and artisans, here you can make some purchases at a good price.
Later we go to the City of Urubamba, traveling to the banks of the Vilcanota River, where we can taste a buffet lunch at a local restaurant and taste Peruvian cuisine and more.
In the afternoon we visit the Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo, whose name is due in honor of the Inca General Ollanta, famous for his romance with an Inca princess, daughter of Pachacutec. It is the only city of the Inca Empire in Peru that is still inhabited, Ollantaytambo would have been a Tambo or city-lodging and a fortress built to monitor the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from possible invasions of jungle people.
Then we will go to the archaeological site of Chinchero, the highest point of the tour (3762 m.a.s.l.) , made up of a beautiful colonial church that was built on the foundations of an Inca temple, it is a magical place, located in the town of Chinchero, place where we can also visit one of the textile production centers, a tradition that was inherited from generation to generation, where alpaca wool is used to make beautiful clothing and other kind of crafts.
Finally we will return to Cusco city. Approximate arrival time 19:00 hrs.
DAY 3: TOUR TO MACHUPICCHU BY TRAIN
In the morning we will pick you up from the hotel in Cusco at 06:30 AM and we will be transported to the train station of Ollantaytambo (trip by car of 1 hour and 40 minutes approx.). [If the train departs from Poroy the car ride is 30 minutes, then take a 3-and-a-half-hour train ride.]
Once at the Ollantaytambo station we will board the train to go to the town of Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town) on the train trip you will enjoy extraordinary landscapes, mountains, rivers, you can also appreciate the flora and fauna of this area of Cusco. Upon arrival to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town), the agency staff will be waiting for you to give you all the directions, then you will go to the bus station, where you will board the bus that makes a zigzagging route to the mountain where the majestic citadel of Machu Picchu is located (30-minute bus trip).
When getting off the bus we will go to the entrance of Machu Picchu, where we must present our tickets and respective identification documents, from this place the tour will begin in the citadel of Machu Picchu, you will visit the main enclosures of the city with the tour guide who will give you all the information and history of Machu Picchu for approximately 2 hours, you will visit the citadel and places such as: the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Quarters, among others. On the tour we will open the senses and fill ourselves with the great energy that hides this majestic place.
At the appropriate time we must take the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes where we can enjoy lunch in one of the restaurants (Lunch not included) and optionally you can visit the hot springs of Aguas Calientes that are located north of the town (entrance not included).
At the appointed time you will take the return train from Aguas Calientes 2 hours of travel to Ollantaytambo, where the car will be waiting for you to transport you to the city of Cusco.
