ITINERARY:

DAY 1: TRIP FROM CUSCO TO AGUAS CALIENTES – TOWN OF MACHU PICCHU

In the morning we will pick you up at your hotel in Cusco at 09:00 hrs. and we will transport you to the Ollantaytambo train station (car trip of 2 hours approx.) to take our train to Aguas Calientes (Machupicchu town). On the train trip we will enjoy extraordinary landscapes, we can also appreciate the flora and fauna of this area of Cusco. Once arriving at the Aguas Calientes town, we will have a free afternoon to walk and get to know this small town, maybe go to the hot springs of Aguas Calientes.  

At night our guide will visit us to give more information about the tour to Machupicchu.

• Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

DAY 2: TOUR TO MACHUPICCHU BY TRAIN

In the morning at the indicated time according to the tour guide, we will go to the bus station and we will travel for 30 minutes to the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Later we will enter the Inca City of Machu Picchu, the tourguide will begin with the tour of the main attractions such as: the guardian enclosure, the temple of the sun, the Intiwatana, the temple of the three windows, the sacred square, the temple of the condor, the sacred rock and others. On the tour we will have some free time to take pictures and explore the place on our own.

After the visit to Machu Picchu, we will board the bus that returns us to Aguas Calientes. After that, we have free time to have lunch in the small town (not included).

In the afternoon we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, once there, the transport will take us back to the city of Cusco (arrival in Cusco at 8:30 p.m. Approx.).

IMPORTANT 

• Rates are based on double accommodation.

• Rates do not include IGV in the case of Peruvian tourists.

HUAYNAPICCHU 

• To climb the Huayna Picchu mountain, there is a limit of 400 people per day, it is recommended to make the reservation in advance. Since, once the quotas for the mountain are exhausted, there is no option to get income.

• The cost to climb this mountain is $ 65.00 USD, which must be increased to the total cost of the package.
