RAINBOW MOUNTAIN TOUR
In the rainbow mountain tour you can enjoy a unique experience. This attraction is after Machu Picchu, the second most visited place in Cusco city. Upon reaching the starting point of the trek, we will be surprised by an incredible panoramic view of the snow-capped Ausangate, the highest mountain in Cusco. You will hike for 1 hour and 30 minutes to the top. You will reach a height of 5,000 meters above sea level, from this height you will appreciate all the scenic beauty that this place offers us. Optionally it is possible to rent a horse at any time along the way if you start to find the walk difficult.

Itinerary
ITINERARY:
We will pick you up early in the morning from your hotel in Cusco 04:00 AM, then we will head towards the south valley of Cusco. The trip by car is around 2 hours until we reach the town of Cusipata, where after having a refreshing breakfast, we will continue 1.5 hours more to the stating point of the trek (Winincunca), you will be immediately surprised by the beauty scenic, the flora and fauna of the place with herds of alpacas and llamas and we will have incredible views of the Ausangate mountain.
After a hike of 1.5 to 2 hours, we will arrive at our destination: Vinincunca “the Mountain of seven colors” (5,020 m / 16,466 ft). Already at the top we can appreciate the beauty and magic of the rainbow mountain and surroundings, as well as the snowy Ausangate, one of the most revered mountains in the region, here you will have time to explore the area and take pictures.
Later we will return the walk downhill from the mountain until the starting point of the trek, later we will continue the route by car until we reach the town of Cusipata, where we will recharge our energies with a delicious lunch. Finally we will return in our transport to the city of Cusco. Approximate arrival time 05:00 PM.
