Our trip will begin with a nice tour in the city of Cusco. Through our City tour, we will walk through the center of the city visiting the main square, walking through the cobbled streets to arrive at Qoricancha or better known as the Temple of the Sun. Then we will go to the outskirts of the city where there are other archaeological parks such as: Saqasayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay.
On our second day, we will enter the Sacred Valley of the Incas, a route where history and culture come alive. This valley that is crossed by the Vilcanota River is an open-air museum that will undoubtedly take you on a journey to Inca times, you will visit places with Inca vestiges such as: Pisaq and Ollantaytambo. To reach the highlight of your tour, you will take a train to the town of Machupicchu or Aguas Calientes so that the next day you will witness the incredible landscapes offered by the citadel of Machupicchu, its impeccable architecture and its natural environment will leave you breathless.

Itinerary
ITINERARY:
DIA 1: CITY TOUR AND CUSCO
We will pick you up from the Cusco airport at the indicated time of your flight schedule, and then transfer you the hotel in Cusco. Morning to acclimatize.
In the afternoon 12:50 hrs. we will pick you up at your hotel for the city tour.
Starting the tour in the imposing main square of Cusco, realizing the history that it has, where we will visit the Cathedral of Cusco, symbol of Andean religious syncretism, then we go through one of the narrow streets like many in Cusco to the Inca Palace of Qoricancha, where it is located also, the convent of Santo Domingo de Guzmán, this place was considered in the Inca times as the most important palace built for the Sun god, culminating the visit we will board our tourist bus which will transport us to the 4 ruins which are around the city of Cusco arriving first at the archaeological site of Sacsayhuaman, which is strategically built on a nearby mountain from where you can see the entire city of Cusco. It is famous for its megalithic stones worked in limestone, some of which are 9 meters high and weigh approximately 100 tons, in this place the festival of Inti Raymi or Festival of the Sun is held every year.
Then we visit the archaeological site of Qenqo, which means labyrinth or zigzag, fulfilled a purely religious function and where it is believed that the Incas mummified their dead, outside it has a semicircular enclosure with trapezoidal niches and a monolith that simulates being a puma which measures approximately six meters.
Later we go to the archaeological site of Puca Pucara, which means “red fortress”, since the calcareous stones which this site was built, it have acquired the reddish coloration of the land. This place had the function of strategic control of people who entered Cusco city in Inca times.
And finally, we visit the archaeological site of Tambomachay, or “tambo” which means place of supply and rest, which were strategically located in the network of roads of the Inca, where we can also see sources of water for religious purposes, as well as niches to harbor mummies and offerings, a really magical place.
Culminating the tour we return to the bus which will transport us back to the city of Cusco to rest after an extraordinary tour.

DAY 2: SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS TOUR- MACHUPICCHU
In the morning at 07:30Hrs. approx. we will pick you up at the hotel in Cusco, then we will start the tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, we will go in the tourist mobility towards Pisac, so on the way we will visit different points of interest such as viewpoints of the Vilcanota River and the valley, already in the Pisac archaeological park, We will visit the Inca citadel of Pisac that is located on the top of the mountain, and we be able to know the different Inca neighborhoods, the cemetery, the terraces and their functions. Then we will go down again by bus to the typical market of Pisac, where we can find a variety of Cusco crafts made by Andean hands, among the crafts, textile pieces, ponchos, bags, etc., and ceramic crafts, which have similarity to the Inca archeological pieces, such as queros (ceremonial vessels), necklaces, among others. In this place we will have the opportunity to make some purchases at a good price.
Then we go to the City of Urubamba, traveling to the banks of the Vilcanota River, where we can enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant and try Peruvian cuisine and more.
Once finished, we will visit the citadel and fortress of Ollantaytambo, whose name is due in honor of the Inca General Ollanta, who had an affair with an Inca princess, daughter of Pachacútec. It is the only city of the Inca Empire in Peru that is still inhabited, Ollantaytambo would have been a Tambo, city-lodging and that may have been a fortress built in order to monitor the entrance to this part of the valley and thus get to protect it from feasible invasions of jungle peoples.
At the end of the tour, we will have to go to the train station of Ollantaytambo to take the train to the town of Aguas Calientes (Machupicchu town). Once arriving at the town of Aguas Calientes, we can rest at the hotel and at night the tour guide will visit you at the hotel to give you more information about our tour to Machupicchu.

DAY 3: TOUR TO MACHUPICCHU
In the morning after breakfast, we will go to the bus station, where you will board the bus that makes a zigzagging route to the mountain where the majestic citadel of Machu Picchu is located (30-minute bus trip).
When getting off the bus we will go to the entrance of Machu Picchu, where you must present the tickets and respective identification documents, from this place the tour will begin in the citadel of Machu Picchu, you will visit the main enclosures of the city with the tour guide who will give you all the information and history of Machu Picchu for approximately 2 hours, you will visit the citadel and places such as: the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Quarters, among others.
At the appropriate time you must take the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes where you have free time, you can enjoy lunch in one of the restaurants (lunch not included) and optionally you can visit the hot springs of Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town), that are located north of the town (entrance not included).
At the appointed time you will take the return train from Aguas Calientes 2 hours of travel to Ollantaytambo, where the car will be waiting for you to transport you to the city of Cusco (arrival in Cusco 20:00 Hrs. Approx.).
Overnight in Cusco.
DAY 4: TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT
This day you will have free time in the city of Cusco until your flight time. At the indicated time the transport will pass through the hotel in Cusco in order to transfer you to the airport and then take your return flight.

- To climb the Huayna Picchu mountain, there is a limit of 400 people per day, it is recommended to make the reservation in advance. Since, once the quotas for the mountain are exhausted, there is no option to get income.
