ITINERARY:

DAY 1: ATVs TOUR IN THE SALT MINES OF MARAS AND LAKE HUAYPO

For the tour, we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco according to our chosen schedule.  Together with the guide and the whole group we will leave for the community of Cruzpata on the road (Cusco – Ollanta) the trip will take about 45 minutes until we arrive the base. At  this point we will have all the equipment and ATVs available, then we will have a training of about (10 -15) minutes to familiarize ourselves with the ATVs.  Once we are all ready for the journey, we will start the tour in the ATVs in the direction of the Huaypo Lake, once arriving at  the Huaypo Lake  we will have 20 free minutes to explore the place on our own.

Later we will head towards Maras the trip consists of ups and downs with incredible landscapes, on the route we can take photos, arriving at the salt mines of Maras we will make the guided tour that will be in charge of one of our professional bilingual guides. Later we will pass through the typical town of maras, which is characterizedby its colonial covers. Finally we will return to the base of Cruzpata. Upon arrival here, we will leave all the equipment and ATVs to board the bus that will return us back to the city of Cusco.

DAY 2: SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS TOUR

In the morning at 07:30Hrs. approx. we will pick you up at the hotel, then we will start the tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, we will go by bus to Pisac, on the route we will make some stops to visit points of interest such as viewpoints of the Vilcanota River and the valley, already in the Pisac archaeological park, we will visit  the Inca citadel of Pisac located at the top of the mountain,  to know the Inca neighborhoods, the cemetery, the terraces and their functions.

Then we will descend by bus to the district of Pisac, where you can visit and see some of the local crafts that have to do with Andean metallurgy. 

Later we go to the City of Urubamba, traveling to the banks of the Vilcanota River, arriving at this, we can taste a buffet lunch in a local restaurant and try Peruvian cuisine and more.

After our pleasant buffet lunch we go in the transport to the archaeological park of Ollantaytambo,  whose name is due in honor of the Inca General Ollanta, famous for his romance with an Inca princess, daughter of Pachacútec. In this park we appreciate megalithic size losses of an approximate  weight of more than 45 tons of weight carved in pink porphyry rock, as well as environments of purely religious use, water sources and tambos since it also fulfilled the function of supply or rest. At the end of the tour, we will go to the train station of Ollantaytambo to take our train to the town of Aguas Calientes (Machupicchu town). Once arriving at the town of Aguas Calientes, we can rest at the hotel and at night our guide will visit us to give us more information about the tour to Machupicchu for the next day.

Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

DAY 3: TOUR TO MACHUPICCHU 

In the morning after breakfast, we will go to the bus station, where we will board the bus that makes a zigzagging route to the mountain where the majestic citadel of Machu Picchu is located (30-minute bus trip). 

When getting off the bus we will go to the entrance of Machu Picchu, where we must present our tickets and respective identification documents, from this place the tour will begin in the citadel of Machu Picchu, we will visit the main enclosures of the city with the tour guide who will give us all the information and history of Machu Picchu for approximately 2 hours,  We will visit the citadel and places such as: the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Quarters, among others. On the tour we will open the senses and fill ourselves with the great energy that hides this majestic place.

At the appropriate time we must take the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes where we can enjoy lunch in one of the restaurants and optionally you can visit the hot springs of Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town), that are located north of the town (entrance not included).

At the appointed time we will take the return train from Aguas Calientes 2 hours of travel to Ollantaytambo, where the car will be waiting for you to transport you to the city of Cusco (arrival in Cusco 20:00 Hrs. Approx.).

Overnight in Cusco.

DAY 4: TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT

This day you will have free time in the city of Cusco until our flight time. At the indicated time the transport will pass through the hotel in Cusco in order to transfer you to the airport and then take your return flight.

HUAYNAPICCHU 

• To climb the Huayna Picchu mountain, there is a limit of 400 people per day, it is recommended to make the reservation in advance. Since, once the quotas for the mountain are exhausted, there is no option to get income.

• The cost to climb this mountain is $ 65.00 USD, which must be increased to the total cost of the package.
